A Resin Bound driveway involves mixing aggregates with resin before application, creating a permeable, smooth finish. A Resin Bonded driveway involves spreading resin over the surface and scattering aggregates on top, resulting in a rougher, non-permeable finish.
UV Resin is resistant to sunlight, preventing discolouration and degradation over time. Non-UV Resin can cause the surface to turn yellow and deteriorate when exposed to the sun.
Installation typically takes 1-3 days, however this depends on the size of the driveway and weather conditions. However, preparation work (such as base installation) may extend the process.
Yes, however this can only take place if the existing surface (such as concrete or tarmac) is in perfect condition and we know what depth it has been laid at along with what aggregates have been used. Any cracks or damage must be repaired beforehand. In most cases, we refrain from laying resin over an existing surface as we cannot guarantee that the sub-base structure will be sufficient enough to provide a lasting surface.
A solid base like permeable concrete or tarmac is recommended for longevity and strength. A porous sub-base like MOT Type 1 is also used for extra drainage.
Typically, 24-48 hours after installation, depending on the weather conditions.
With proper installation and maintenance, a UV resin bound driveway can last up to 25 years.

On the day they began works, they were quick to bring my attention to issues with the level of the remaining garden and came up with a plan to resolve this. From start to finish this company is an absolute pleasure to deal with, from initially requesting a quote Callum was on the ball, turned up when he said he was going to, giving out great ideas and very helpful, the quote was spot on for a tarmac and block driveway and work began on the date given.
