Upon receiving your enquiry, we will schedule a convenient time for an initial consultation, during which we will assess the area and discuss your specific requirements.
Following the consultation, we will proceed with the design and planning of your project. We will then provide you with a fixed quotation based on your selected surface type.
Once you have accepted the quotation, we will handle any necessary permits and identify any potential services (such as gas, electricity, or water) that may need to be addressed before excavation.
Finally, we will coordinate a suitable start date for the work to begin.
Once the work begins, the first step is to excavate the area, ensuring a minimum depth of 300mm. This guarantees that your driveway or surface will remain stable and free from sinking.
All waste materials will be efficiently removed from the site using a grab lorry or directly loaded onto a vehicle, eliminating the need for skips.
The preparation stage begins with the installation of a weed control membrane, preventing weed growth and helping to stabilise the ground.
Next, we lay the first layer of clean Type 1 recycled hardcore, which is compacted in layers using specialised machinery to ensure a solid foundation beneath your chosen surface. This process is crucial in preventing sinking and cracking.
Following this, we install the edging, selecting either blocks or kerbs based on your preferences. These are securely laid and backed with a strong concrete mix to ensure stability and cohesion.
Finally, we add the top layer of compacted Type 1 stone, providing a base thickness of at least 200mm to support the durability and longevity of your surface.
Once the area has been fully prepared, we proceed with the installation of your chosen surface finish.

Excellent job carried out by Callum and his team. Honest and fair quote for drop kerbs and a new resin driveway. On the day they began works, they were quick to bring my attention to issues with the level of the remaining garden and came up with a plan to resolve this. A professional and friendly team, they all worked hard every day to ensure the work was completed to the highest standards. Would definitely recommend and the resin driveway is stunning. They also took care of applications with the council and their work was inspected by the council upon completion.
From start to finish this company is an absolute pleasure to deal with, from initially requesting a quote Callum was on the ball, turned up when he said he was going to, giving out great ideas and very helpful, the quote was spot on for a tarmac and block driveway and work began on the date given. All the lads are grafters and the job was done to absolute perfection always cleaning up after themselves each day and keeping informed at each stage.
