We are proud to share two beautiful residential projects our team at CS Paving & Surfacing completed in Lincoln over the past week. From a durable resin bound surface to robust tarmac – we continue to deliver high-quality results for our valued customers.
The first project involved a full transformation of a residential driveway using the elegant “Sweet Pea” blend, supplied by the Resin Mill. As Resin Mill Elite Installers, we’re proud to work with their premium materials following the highest installation standards.
This was more than just a surface upgrade – it was a complete redesign. The customer chose an in-and-out driveway layout to improve access, which required extensive groundwork. We took down part of an existing wall and rebuilt a brick pillar to tie in with the existing brickwork, creating space for a new entrance.
To support this new layout, we also installed a new dropped kerb and obtained all the necessary permissions from Lincolnshire County Council Highways. During the excavation, we discovered a drainage issue, which we resolved quickly and effectively to ensure a long-lasting finish.
To complete the transformation, we laid a new block paved path, allowing easy access across the front of the property. The final resin bound surface brought everything together beautifully – creating a smooth, vibrant, and practical finish that the customer was thrilled with.
The second project was for another residential customer in Lincoln and involved turning a grassed area with a small existing section of concrete into a fully functional tarmac driveway.
We began by fully excavating the entire area, carrying out necessary preparation works and installing a block paved border to frame the driveway. We ensured that the sub-base was well-compacted to provide long term stability.
During the groundworks, we encountered some drainage issues, but as always, our experienced team was able to identify and resolve the problem quickly and efficiently, ensuring the new surface would remain free-draining and reliable.
The final tarmac finish not only looks great but offers durability, low maintenance, and excellent performance for everyday use.
