We’re pleased to share details of a recently completed project for a customer in Metheringham. The homeowner approached us with a clear vision: to improve access to their property by installing a new dropped kerb and creating a pathway that ties seamlessly into the existing design of their home.
The core of the works involved lowering the kerb line at the front of the property to allow for smooth access onto the driveway. Our team carried out the necessary excavation and preparation to ensure the new dropped kerb met Lincolnshire County Council’s specifications and was both functional and durable.
To maintain a polished look, we installed a block paved finish on the newly dropped kerb area. Not only does this enhance the visual appeal, but it also provides a robust and long-lasting surface capable of withstanding regular use.
A key part of the customer’s brief was to replicate the style and layout of an existing side path, ensuring continuity in design. We matched the materials and layout, creating a new pathway that leads directly from the driveway to the side of the house. The end result is a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution that blends perfectly with the existing exterior.
This project is a great example of how professional workmanship can significantly improve the functionality and appearance of a property. The customer was delighted with the outcome, and we’re proud to have delivered a solution that meets both their practical needs and aesthetic expectations.
