Once you get in touch with us, we’ll arrange a convenient time to visit and chat about your project. During this initial consultation, we’ll take a look at the area and go over your specific needs and preferences.
After that, we’ll move on to the design and planning stage, then provide you with a clear, fixed-price quote based on your chosen surface type.
If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll work with you to set a start date that suits your schedule, and then we’ll get to work bringing your project to life.
From there, we’ll take care of any necessary permits and check for any underground services—like gas, water, or electricity—that might need attention before we start digging.
When the work starts, we begin by carefully excavating the area to a minimum depth of 300mm. This solid foundation helps ensure your new surface stays stable and doesn’t sink over time.
All waste is cleared away quickly and efficiently—either loaded straight into a vehicle or removed using a grab lorry—so there’s no need for unsightly skips on your property.
We kick off the preparation stage by laying a weed control membrane. This helps keep unwanted growth at bay and adds extra stability to the ground beneath.
Next, we spread an initial layer of clean type 1 recycled hardcore. It’s added and compacted in stages using heavy machinery to create a strong, reliable foundation that helps prevent any future sinking or cracking.
Once that’s in place, we install the edging—either blocks or kerbs, depending on your preference. These are set firmly in concrete to make sure everything stays solid and looks neat.
To finish off the base, we add a final compacted layer of type 1 stone, bringing the total thickness to at least 200mm. This ensures your new surface is built to last.
With the groundwork complete, we move on to installing your chosen surface finish.

Excellent job carried out by Callum and his team. Honest and fair quote for drop kerbs and a new resin driveway. On the day they began works, they were quick to bring my attention to issues with the level of the remaining garden and came up with a plan to resolve this. A professional and friendly team, they all worked hard every day to ensure the work was completed to the highest standards. Would definitely recommend and the resin driveway is stunning. They also took care of applications with the council and their work was inspected by the council upon completion.
From start to finish this company is an absolute pleasure to deal with, from initially requesting a quote Callum was on the ball, turned up when he said he was going to, giving out great ideas and very helpful, the quote was spot on for a tarmac and block driveway and work began on the date given. All the lads are grafters and the job was done to absolute perfection always cleaning up after themselves each day and keeping informed at each stage.
